Exchanged Life Ministries

                     The Ellison Family

Troy trained as a counselor at Exchanged Life Ministries prior to serving a year as a Chaplain/Counselor at City Square, (formerly His Hands) in downtown Littleton. Exchanged Life Ministries’  missionary staff serves the Denver area community through Christian Discipleship Counseling and the equipping of believers through Discipleship Training. In 2014 Troy was asked to join ELM full time and now serves as both a classroom instructor and an individual and family counselor. Kim completed all training at ELM as well, and serves as a volunteer. Troy, Kim, and their daughter Ellery are long time members at Littleton Church of Christ. Troy has served as an Elder for seven years.

Exchanged Life Ministries’ counselors facilitate the Holy Spirit’s work of revelation, transformation, and healing. Hurting people from Denver and the entire country are served with a unique approach to counseling that is Biblically-based and powerfully effective. Their focus is not on “bandaging the wound,” but on presenting Christ as the solution for the person, the problem, and the pain.

The counselors deal with emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties in an atmosphere of love, acceptance, understanding, and prayer. They desire that all may come to know Christ not only as Savior, and Lord, but also as their very Life.

Exchanged Life Ministries’ discipleship education represents three levels of training. The first level is The Grace Life Conference, which offers a different perspective on living the Christian life. For the first time many believers experience the freedom, joy, and peace that Christ intends for all who live, not from their own strength but in His strength alone. The second level is structured to develop an individual’s own spiritual growth and provide tools for communicating and teaching the knowledge of Christ as Life, that is, teaching disciples to make disciples. The third level is advanced training, and it equips all believers to teach and counsel others. Participants gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of counseling and of the truths about the Christian’s identity and life in Christ. All Staff at Exchanged Life Ministries raise their own support. This fosters a reliance on God for sustenance through financial support. The ministry passes 100% of your tax-deductible independently donated support dollars to the Ellison family.
